NEW! Virtual + In-Class format makes it more convenient and affordable to become a CPHC!

PHIUS’ flagship training is the first and still only passive house designer training geared to North American climate and market conditions. For the first time, students can take Phase I via live, virtual sessions, eliminating travel and accommodation requirements for that segment. Students can choose from locations across the country to complete the in-class segment. In addition, registration fees have been lowered! Approved for AIA CES and BPI continuing ed credits.

The PHIUS Builders Training program prepares construction professionals to meet the passive house challenge. PHIUS+ Rater Training

This two-day course qualifies HERS raters to conduct on-site quality assurance for the PHIUS+ program. The PHIUS+ certification program for North American Passive Houses combines extensive design review with a rigorous on-site quality assurance program. PHIUS+ aligns with the quality assurance protocols of Energy Star 3.0 and DOE Challenge Home, while including additional tests and checks, specific to the PHIUS+ program.
